Micah O’Hare was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. After graduating from Grimsley, he attended Vanderbilt University, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and Mathematics, as well as a minor in Engineering Management. From there, he moved to Memphis, TN as a new member of the Memphis Teacher Residency. After gaining a Masters in Education, Micah taught high school math, trained teachers, and served as an Instructional Coach for middle and high school teachers of Math, Music, Science, and Technology courses.
While in Memphis, Micah married Virginia O’Hare after meeting at Vanderbilt. She too was an educator in Memphis, where they had their first two children, Audrey and Charlotte. During those years, Micah began to invest in real estate and work as a property manager for his own portfolio. Micah enjoyed the investment and management so much that the dream to work full-time in real estate firmly took root.
In 2019, an opportunity arose to move to Greensboro for Micah to work as an Investment Advisor Representative for a local Wealth Management firm. Micah valued the opportunity to learn about the financial industry, but it became clear that he couldn’t let go of a dream to work in real estate. As they welcomed their third child, Oliver, in March 2020, he finally began to pursue a career as a real estate broker. Micah is very excited to combine his passion and experience in real estate with his background in mathematics and financial services to serve those interested in buying or selling a home and investors building a real estate portfolio.
